The queens fool is different to Gregory's other 'Tudor' novels, in that it deals with a fictional protagonist among historical figures we all know. I liked this touch, as the reader is unaware of the ending. Hannah Green is a Jewish girl possessing the 'sight' in 16th Century England, fearing day by day that she will be discovered as a heretic/5().   #1 New York Times bestselling author and “queen of royal fiction” (USA TODAY) Philippa Gregory weaves a spellbinding tale of a young woman with the ability to see the future in an era when destiny was anything but clear. The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory. Firstly, I loved this book. I like reading how Philippa Gregory makes history a great read. The only part I realy didn't like was how the death of Hannah's mother is brought up time and time again, in the same text/5(30).

The Queen's Fool | In this eagerly awaited sequel to "The Other Boleyn Girl," readers return to Tudor England, where the offspring of Henry VIII ascend to the throne amid treason, poisonous rivalries, accusations of heresy, and unrequited : Washington Square Press. Tudor England is not a merry place, but Hannah is no fool. Another intelligent and engrossing tale of Tudor England from Gregory (The Other Boleyn Girl, , etc.). Pub Date: Feb. 1st,
